Hongcun Village
Hongcun Village, located in the northeast of Yixian County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province, is an ancient town hidden at the foot of Huangshan Mountain. It is an ancient village with a large number of historical buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The village has also built a perfect water system and characteristic "cattle" shaped layout. In 2000, ancient villages in southern Anhui, including Hongcun Village, were listed as a World Cultural Heritage by the World Heritage Committee.
